( Cake request for 3-year-old Hitler namesake denied )
Source.
Now, my middle name is Edgar. I was named to honor my grandfather, who died a few years before I was born. What sick fuck would name their child to honor Hitler? Nothing wrong with the name Adolph (usually spelled with a "ph")... But spelling it Adolf, and then as icing on the cake, making his middle name Hitler?? What sick fuck would do that to a kid?

Free Rice donated via the UN in exchange for your vocab virtuosity.
"FreeRice has a custom database containing thousands of words at varying degrees of difficulty. There are words appropriate for people just learning English and words that will challenge the most scholarly professors. In between are thousands of words for students, business people, homemakers, doctors, truck drivers, retired people… everyone!
FreeRice automatically adjusts to your level of vocabulary. It starts by giving you words at different levels of difficulty and then, based on how you do, assigns you an approximate starting level. You then determine a more exact level for yourself as you play. When you get a word wrong, you go to an easier level. When you get three words in a row right, you go to a harder level. This one-to-three ratio is best for keeping you at the “outer fringe” of your vocabulary, where learning can take place." |

Ok, seriously, this is fucked up beyond words. Then again, it *is* Arkansas.
( Arkansas couple welcomes 17th child )
90,000 diapers?? I've changed ONE diaper in my life, and it was enough to convince me to wait at least ten years before doing it again. And being pregnant for ten and a half cumulative years??
Seriously, for the love of god, someone PLEASE buy these people a color TV and a DVD player so that they have something else to do at nite.

Digital Penetration: Be prepared to get naked for airport security, without even taking your clothes off.
Scanners that can yield peeks under the clothing like this will begin to make appearances at airports around the US.

Before you go freaking out, this is starting as a means to screen people who set off metal detectors/need a pat-down search for whatever reason as an option rather than being touched or whatever. But how long until it becomes mandated, and then, what of it? How would you feel if this technology became the norm in all airports? Would the invasion of privacy therein become commonplace/less significant/eventually obsolete? |

Twelve-year-old Deamonte Driver died of a toothache Sunday.
A routine, $80 tooth extraction might have saved him. If his mother had been insured.
If his family had not lost its Medicaid.
If Medicaid dentists weren't so hard to find.
If his mother hadn't been focused on getting a dentist for his brother, who had six rotted teeth.
